Hole 9

Par 4

A long end to a fairly short front nine, number nine is a straightaway par four which plays slightly uphill. The tee shot is guarded by a large fairway bunker on the right, and a tree and fescue on the left. The large square green is protected with bunkers left and a mound on the right. Many players try to “chase” a long iron or fairway metal right up the middle to set up for a birdie opportunity. At a par of 35, the front nine is a pure test of golf and a perfect prequel for the back nine, which is regarded as one of the “toughest nine holes in the Philadelphia Area”
